Our economic stimulus packages will help keep you and your horse ready to show. For students taking two or more lessons per week the following will apply for the rest of 2009:
Not everyone wants to show. It is a lot of work and requires dedication, but the rewards are well worth the effort. When you make the decision to show with our show team, our level of coaching and training becomes more intense. Our goal is to help you achieve your goals. Shows should always be fun, yet make you challenge yourself. We have a 30 year record for producing consistently placing riders and horses. Our riders are always in the top 6 at all shows attended.
Most Important, our horses come first.
I make a committment to each client that I will not overwork, over train, or push a rider or horse who is over tired and stressed. We keep an eye out for soreness, muscle fatigue, and mental exhaustion. I will never drug a horse to keep it showing. We do not nerve tails. Every horse gets a linament brace after each work out, and every rider learns basic massage techniques to keep their horse happy and to learn to know if their horse is off.
Every rider each day starts with an assessment of the horses range of what is normal for that particular horse. Which stretching exercises does each horse need for his work out each day? A horse is an athlete and he/she heeds to be treated like one.
